Ex-pro raising awareness

It was Autism Awareness Weekend for ice hockey team Ogden Mustangs during January. A variety of activities took place including a match-worn autism-themed jersey auction and a Goalies for Autism dinner with former NHL player Olaf Kölzig.

North Allegheny – a school district in Pennsylvania – is bringing autistic and non-autistic individuals together through sport by staging inclusive boccia sessions – part of the Unified Sports programme, which is supported by the Special Olympics.
